"Since it's foundation on Mt. Paektu, the main Party's goal was always the unstoppable work for the well being, development and independence of the Korean people, always aiming for the future of the nation.

During the National Liberation War, this was put to proof by the internal and external aggressors, but the unmatched Korean people's resilience let the struggle continue and the war was won.

During the following years, the Party's guidance was essential to the reconstruction and also the development of the country, such as in the application of the three revolutions in the countryside.

During the Arduous March, the Party's leadership was essential to guide the painful road that the Korean people went through. The Party and the leader sent away the storm that came through the whole country and safeguarded the future of the struggle.

The Korean people have persevered and shown the whole world that their struggle will forever continue. Today, the Party continues to progress together with the people, leading all of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea to victory once again. Unbeaten, the nation follows a million miles under the Party's guidance, as the song says, and will follow a million more.

Long life the WPK, that has for 80 years and will forever be building the future of Korea!"
