80 Years of the Glorious WPK Building the Future of the Country

The 80^th anniversary of the invincible Workers' Par

ty of Korea, the longest-serving socialist party in power, is approaching.

Created by the long-standing efforts of the great leader Comrade Kim Il Sung, the WPK is, still as of today, writing the longest history of socialism in power. In this history are included the immortal scientific masterpiece written by the great leader Comrade Kim Jong Il on the building of the revolutionary working class' party, which enriched and further developed the communist thought on this important matter of principle for socialist construction.

As a matter of fact, he led the defense of socialism and the WPK's leadership in the grim decade of the 1990s, when other communist parties were lowering the red flag of revolution and turning themselves into revisionist or social-democratic parties, thus betraying socialism.

Thanks to the immortal exploits of the peerless great men, the world people nowadays look at the DPRK as a beaconlight and source of inspiration for advancing towards independence and multipolarism, aspiring to the building of a new society. That is because Comrade Kim Jong Un's revolutionary idea is the immortal militant banner and the sole guiding idea of the Workers' Party of Korea to carry the Juche revolutionary cause to completion and lead the era of independence.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un is in fact a great people's leader who steers the independent cause of the Korean revolution and the whole mankind with unparalleled political ability. His people-first policy is the precious model of politics that progressive peoples must learn.

In the DPRK, the originality and correctness of the Five-Point Policy for the Construction of the Party in the New Era summarize the history and struggle experience of the Workers' Party of Korea, as the longest-serving socialist party in power. The eighty years of victories of the WPK are the clearest proofs that Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, as the highest stage so far reached by the communist scientific thought, is a universally-valid theory that every country and people aspiring to a just and peaceful world in the current complex and intricate international situation, must adhere to in their mobilization to fight for independence.
