80 Years of the glorious WPK building the future of the country

Speech by KFA OD of Hungary

On this most historic and joyous occasion, the 80th Anniversary of the founding of the glorious Workers’ Party of Korea, the Korean Friendship Association of Hungary extends its warmest congratulations to the heroic Korean people and to the respected leadership of the WPK.

For eighty years, the Workers’ Party of Korea has stood as the beacon of independence, self-reliance, and dignity. Born amidst the flames of anti-imperialist struggle, the WPK has guided the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea through every trial and challenge, ensuring the sovereignty of the nation and the happiness of its people.

The immortal achievements of President Kim Il Sung, who founded the Party and charted the original course of Juche, laid the foundations of a new Korea, free from colonialism, free from exploitation, free to choose its own destiny. The wise leadership of Generalissimo Kim Jong Il, who defended socialism and led the cause through the arduous march, further cemented the revolutionary spirit of the Party, showing the world that no hardship can break the will of the people when united under their Party. And today, under the brilliant guidance of the Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, the Workers’ Party of Korea continues to usher in a new era of strength, prosperity, and modernity. The remarkable achievements in science, technology, defense, and culture are the living proof that the Party is indeed the genuine representative of the masses.

The slogan “The people are my God,” upheld by the Party, has never been an empty phrase. It has been realized in every aspect of Korean life—from free education and health care, to the grand housing projects and cultural development that uplift the working masses.

As we, the Korean Friendship Association of Hungary, celebrate this proud anniversary, we reaffirm our solidarity with the WPK and the DPRK. In a world marked by imperialist aggression and neoliberal decay, the example of Korea shines as a model of how a people, firmly organized under their revolutionary Party, can build their own bright future.

We are confident that the next decades will witness even greater victories, as the WPK leads the Korean nation towards the complete building of a powerful socialist state and contributes to the cause of global independence and peace.

Long live the Workers’ Party of Korea!

Long live the eternal leadership of the Korean revolution!

Long live the friendship between the peoples of Hungary and the DPRK!
